As I’ve done enough tooting of my own horn with the announcement of my new book, MEDITERRANEA this week, I wanted to big up some of my favourite creatives here in Athens and their brands.

It’s the time of year that many of you are arriving into the city or planning your trips and I’ve already had so many messages asking my opinion on where to stay, where to drink and where to head out to eat. So below I’m going to round up the newest, hottest spots in the city that are worth checking out on your trip this summer, along with where to shop and where to stay.

WHERE TO SHOP IN ATHENS

Shopping can be difficult in this city. I often bemoan the fact that I can’t find decent shopping in the city but there are a few zones and brands that really stand out and they’re the ones you should visit for souvenirs that will remind you of your time in Greece AND that you’ll actually want to have around.

From spice shopping, the streets to get real bees wax candles and rich frankincense to the best area for fabrics and the young creatives that are making waves on the city’s fashion scene, below I’m listing the ultimate places to shop in Athens.
